Same run as yesterday but went a little bit further past Mooloolaba. Another swim and fruit juice to follow up. This really is a great place to come and visit!

Running (Maroochydore) 35:32 [3] 7.0 km (5:05 / km)
shoes: Kayano 23

In Maroochydore for a couple of days during a flying visit to Oz. Great to head out on one of my favourite runs from the Maroochydore Surf Club to Mooloolaba and back. Nice and warm but not too humid. Felt a bit sluggish after the plane flight yesterday, but not too bad. Nice to follow up with a swim in the surf and a juice from the Beach Street Deli.

Running intervals 43:42 [4] 8.0 km (5:28 / km)
shoes: Kayano 23

Squeezed in a run between meetings. Interval session, but not feeling very sprightly, certainly not as zippy as last week's interval session with Nick. But did it anyway: 3-2-1-2-3-2-1 mins with 1 min break. Pace not great - 4.11, 4.19 (something wrong with the GPS here as was definitely as fast as the first interval), 3.54, 4.12, 4.16, 4.12, 4.06. Jogged back to work and glad to stop. Frantic afternoon getting things squared away at work in time for the trip to Oz tomorrow.

Running 36:29 [3] 7.0 km (5:13 / km)
shoes: Kayano 23

Busy day ahead at work so headed out for a morning run in steady drizzle. Surprisingly felt pretty good on the run and enjoyed it. The traffic seemed to be particularly bad this morning and a lot of ill-tempered French drivers meant there was a constant cacophony of blaring horns as I went to and from the Bois. Thankfully the noise diminished markedly once I was in the forest ...
