Finnish Champs Night-O B-final

The weather was marvelous. Little bit wind and some light showers... Made a mistake again for 1st, but then things started to roll on. I saw maybe three lamps (and they were running agaisnt me) before 7th cp. So I had to really work on my own but I did it as well as I can. Maybe the route choice for 6th wasn't the one but anyway I had fun on my own. On 7th I catched 2 mins before started guy and I got some boost from it. After that things rolled on even better and I have to be satisfied of the result. Last year I was 9th, this year 16th, so maybe this race suits on me. Looking forward next Saturday..

Orienteering race 58:45 [5] 6.6 km (8:54 / km)
shoes: Panther II

Feeling was great b4 the race. I wanted the flag. Maybe I wanted too much.. big mistakes for 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Then I started to understand the 2,5m contour level and rest of the course went better. Not the last one, but almost..

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2] 2.2 km (9:05 / km)
shoes: Panther II

Orienteering race 1:03:00 [4] 6.2 km (10:10 / km)
shoes: Panther II

3 mins mistake for 1st, then maybe 1min for 2nd and 3rd last. Not great performance, but it would had been possible to make even more mistakes coz some points were challencing.
