actually a fun race with the different contours. Took a long route to one of my controls... found it fine but took a little longer then it should have. Brain dead towards the end and had to go back to a depression in the woods to find my control, and then Joe caught up to me. Messed up in the field also, mixed up the contour lines...

Not my best race, ran right by my number 7 and the map didn't match up with what I was expecting at number 11 and ran right by that. Basically it was kinda zig zaggy all the way through...

Fun sprint even though it was hot and started up hill... Pushed myself as much as I could even thoug I was tired from the mornings middle course. Only lost some time on one of them when I was too far to the right looking for number 11 and had to run over the hill to find the swamp I wanted. fun times :)

rowing in a new single today in practice one. I was fixing my feet one minute and then looked up and it was down pouring. Sooo.... it was kinda wet. Then practice later I went out in a quad, which was nice.

went out in a single for the second time with Riverside. Felt really good, I would secretly race all the people I saw. Fairly cold this morning but warmed up once I got going. Probably not really going that fast, which was probably a good thing since if I lost control and fell in the water I would be very cold...

did a course at Blue hills forwards halfway, then ran back to the start, then did the whole thing backwards. Not too bad. Feel a little rusty and slow when I get near the circle. But otherwise went okay.
