| well i made the mistake of not wearing any pants for this race and ran in shorts. It was very bad running through the woods and i finally gave up when i was bleeding enough and walked some parts... i was also pretty tired becuse we had just run a long time right before this. | ||

| well this was a disaster. I was standing around at the start for a while and i think i let my mind wander so when i got out in the woods i found it hard to concentrate. I was sortof slow for the first five but i found them alright. Then on number six i decided that i would not follow where my compus was showing me to go and i ended up way too far to the right then i thought i was going and ended up in green slash (which was very hard to move in) and i had trouble figuring out where in the world i was so i retraced my steps to a large stream that i knew where it was on my map and then tried to go from there but ended up hitting the wrong reentrant and went off in the wrong direction again until i found where i was and found the control about 15min later... The rest of the course was kinda slow and i was very unsure with myself from there on in and just couldn't really get everything together the whole course... | ||

| wasn't running that fast because I didn't really trust my orienteering skills yet because i have not done orienteering i a while but it came back to me as i went along the course. I was stronger in the beginning and then had a couple of bobbles towards the end because the map got very technical. | ||
