warm up and stretching

20min tempo run
5min rest
Was pretty difficult since the first half was all uphill and tired me out but then just coasted down to finish out

4x1min hard with a 1 min rest between each.
did these in a small park doing quick turns and running over terrain. Was pretty slippery with the leaves and being in trainers

cool down run back to my dorm and and stretching

no distance since i have no idea how far i went

Beautiful day with the sun setting and the light shinning through the trees along the hill side. Kind of inspiring to run into. Just an awesome feeling to be able to train in such a beautiful place

Taking a rest today and tomorrow and then starting the workouts erin sent me. Legs are too tired to make the workout what I want it to be. Will start thursday and have my work out days set on Tuesday and Thursday. We kind of made a rough plan for each week at our junior meeting each week.

easy running after intense racing this weekend. Actually stayed back with Caitlyn and Alyssa. It felt nice and relaxing. Also made me enjoy running a little bit after a weekend of painful competition and difficult terrain.

NAOC sprint

Seconds would have really mattered in this run. Still satisfied with result and ended up in 6th in M-20 in a field that i know is much faster than. Trying to change that and hopefully start more speed training heading into the winter sessions of training.

Overall view of the weekend is that I know that I am improving but still a long road ahead...

NAOC relay

Very interesting relay to say the least. With the results ending in US and CAN tied in the over future cup competition. Started strong with Ethan and Alex but on the second control both me and Alex made a huge mistake for it being a sprint/relay. Both led each other 150M down hill of where the control was. It felt fine for me to make the mistake in relay situation as my competitor make the same mistake and from the second control on I led Alex from there. Even though I did beat him the strong canadian was right behind me in the finish chute. Felt good after being beat by him all weekend. Shows he has trained more.

NAOC long

Final starting to enjoy longs and understanding how to be successful on them. Need to do more long activity to improve my endurance since towards the end I got too tired and started making mistakes and tripping over myself. Following route choices was good but don't know if they were the best routes. I do know that they were pretty close to the line. Overall i could say navigationally i was fine and physically I need to improve in order to be ready for the ultra long champs coming up.

Small cool down since knew was bother me. Believe I hit it somewhere in woods. Iced it and was fine for the next day.

NAOC middle

Really felt my training and experience's in Europe help me a lot in this race. Felt fast and in control almost all the time. Even though i made errors they became minor due to me paying more attention to the map and correcting them fast. Next best thing is to not have those errors but today it seemed like everyone had the same problems.

Oh also joined the 90 point club by getting a rank of 96 on this one. #ballin

first 5K in a while and I'm going to say it was interesting. Started strong with a 5:50 mile and then died and had problems with my shins the rest of the race. Not going to say I'm not pleased but will say that this is not the result I was looking for. NAOC next weekend so time to taper down.

Been sick practically all week and coughing up a storm but never know when I will be sick like this for a big race. Leading me to feeling bad and still getting out in the woods. Felt good

WPOC woods aren't the most friendly so it slowed me down quite a bit. Other than that just little mistakes that were due to the green pushing me around.

Run with running club. Nice to have people push me. Also had a map in hand trying to navigate at a faster pace than I orienteer
