A bit of a rude awakening coming back to the track on a day where it is around 30 degrees at 19:00 in the evening. My heart rate showed that I wasn't recovering well between reps, but it wasn't so bad in the end.
3*(4x300m) 100 m jog (60 secs) between reps 400 m jog (4 mins) between sets
~50-51 for each rep
Fun having the new watch with wrist based HR. I can see that my HR doesn't pick up quickly enough on the first set (and first rep of each set). Ideally I should already be at my optimal HR for this set so that I don't become fatigued.
