Road run around hood with Tess. Started with a plan of trying to hit 9 minute miles after yesterdays HR issues. Fortunately everything seemed fine today and we had a pretty nice run.

First run on the New Year. Well it started out just fine the first 2.5 Then about 2.5 miles in I was running a longish gradual hill and my heart rate just spiked and did not want settle down. Walked a bit, to try to slow it down, but as soon as I started jogging again it seemed so spike again. Eventually got to where I could run walk run. But HR just seems to stay on the higher side til the finished. Walked a bit afterwards and it settled down. Then seemed fine. Hopefully this is just one of those, weird things happen, 1st run after a few weeks off kind of thing????
