Kayak long 3:40:00 [3] 36.0 km (6:07 / km)

Still underhydrated from night before. Brought lots of liquid but not enough energy drink. Could have used more electrolytes. Had to stop at Bomb Island and lay in a sliver of shade in 6" deep water until I somewhat recovered at the 30 km mark.

91 degrees at about 7 pm when I started. Only dropped to 84. Lost lots of fluid weight. Good thing Gatorade was set out that night for the race the next morning. I filled my bottle back up twice!

5 X 2 km in V7. Was surprised to hold around 6.5-6.6 for reps. Finished strong at 7+.

Stamina. Was disappointing pace until last mile when I stepped it up to hit a 7:05. Otherwise it was 8'+ pace.
