This felt really tough almost from the outset, despite 2 rest days beforehand! a number of non-existant roads which were essentially dirt farm tracks (unsuitable for road bikes!) meant about 20k extra of backtracking/finding alt routes. Climbing became very tough after 130K with 100 left to go - didn't think i would finish it but found something to push on. Time is awful!

Weird 'heart rate' program - bit crap as it just did it by age and weight (?!) and made you maintain a pretty easy heart rate - pointless!
