Yoga/Stretching (yoga) 1:00:00 [1]

Cycling (road) 1:40:00 [4] 26.0 mi (3:51 / mi)

Bike: Jake. Route: Mercer Island loop from work. Warm up to I-90 bridge, big effort chasing some guy across bridge (whew!), hard effort around the island. Definately leg limited...had difficulty pushing legs hard enough to get heart rate up.

Yoga/Stretching (stretching) 25:00 [1]

Sunday Jun 28, 2009 #

Cycling (road) 5:45:00 [3] 104.0 mi (3:19 / mi) +3900ft 3:12 / mi

Bike: Jake. Route: Flying Wheels Century route (Redmond, Snohomish, Fall City, Redmond). Maintained pace throughout without issues. Some sharper pains at the beginning, but otherwise the back did surprisingly well.

Friday Jun 26, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 2:28:00 [4] 20.9 mi (7:05 / mi)

Bike: Spot. Route: Tiger. Again. Iverson loop plus out and back on NW Timber/Preston. Rode at higher intensity than usual and felt good. Achy by end as usual.

Wednesday Jun 24, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 40:00 [4]

Wed Night Worlds at Seatac. Did a token two laps at a fast pace.

Tuesday Jun 23, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 2:50:00 [3] 23.5 mi (7:14 / mi)

Bike: Spot. Route: Tiger. Iverson loop, up Main Tiger Rd, to ? summit (right fork in road ~1/4 mile before Preston), back up Main Tiger Rd to West Tiger 1 summit. Down road to Preston, then NW Timber. Focused more on hills tonight than tempo. Legs still tender but felt okay climbing even on the heavier bike. The back did a bit better during the climbing but I was pretty sore and uncomfortable by the end of the ride.

Yoga/Stretching (yoga) 1:00:00 [1]

Yah, finally found some time for yoga.

Cycling (road) 1:05:00 [3] 17.0 mi (3:49 / mi)

Bike: Jake. Easy spin on the Burke. Legs surprisingly sore from weekend but felt good to move them.

Sunday Jun 21, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 2:50:00 [3] 14.7 mi (11:34 / mi)

Bike: Spot. Route: White River, up Ranger Creek, down Palisades. Did not exactly turn out to be a big week training-wise. 12 hour days at work and not taking care of myself (not eating well, not stretching, not getting enough sleep) contributed.

Saturday Jun 20, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt/road) 3:15:00 [3] 34.0 mi (5:44 / mi)

Bike: Jake with knobbies. Route: Grand Ridge out and back starting from Factoria. Some of the climbing was tough given the gearing on the cross bike. Definately rated a 5 for intensity at times.

Wednesday Jun 17, 2009 #

Cycling 1:45:00 [3] 15.0 mi (7:00 / mi)

Fire road climbing at Tiger. Went to Poo-Poo Point and back. Back hurt within 45 min. Ended up cutting ride short. Very discouraged.

Bike: Spot. Route: Whistler. Started at Bayshore, connector to Riverside Trail, up Highline, up Microwave Rd, down Tunnel Vision, up paved road, down Big Timber. Everyone hungover including me. Felt great on bike though. Back still okay.

Saturday Jun 13, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 2:40:00 [3] 18.0 mi (8:53 / mi)

Bike: Spot. Route: To Function Junction, up south Flank, down High Society, up north Flank, down Cheap Thrills, Beaver Lake, Danimal. Two tough climbs and two gnarly descents. Overalll a punishing 18 miles. Legs good, back good. Lots of long rest stops waiting for Alex. Upper body sore from day before.

Friday Jun 12, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 1:05:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:07 / mi)

Bike: Spot. Route: Whistler. Up 27 Switchbacks Trail to Binty's, down Billy's Epic, finished with a cruise of River Runs Through It. Tough climb, tough descent.

Wednesday Jun 10, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 1:45:00 [3] 15.0 mi (7:00 / mi)

Bike: Flux. Route: Tiger including Iverson. (my cyclocomputer data did not make sense at end..so guesstimating time and distance). Did a good hard effort for ~23 min on fire road climb. Felt really good today..smooth and strong

Saturday Jun 6, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 4:45:00 [3] 30.2 mi (9:26 / mi) +5000ft 8:09 / mi

Bike: Flux. Route: Red Hill, Devil's Gulch, Mission Ridge, Red Devil. I was looking for a ride that would hurt but this ride did not take as long as I thought it would (also thought it would be closer to 40 miles). Shorter was okay in the end as my back was suffering. Definately a drag to stop every half hour because of that. Legs felt fantastic though. Could have kept that effort level going for a long time. Oh yeah, I did have minor cramps..sartorius I would think. Odd that it happened today.

Wednesday Jun 3, 2009 #

Cycling (road) 2:15:00 [3] 31.6 mi (4:16 / mi)

To work in morning. Lap of Mercer after work and then home.

Tuesday Jun 2, 2009 #

10x Tabata sprints.

Yoga/Stretching (yoga) 1:00:00 [2]

Monday Jun 1, 2009 #

Cycling (dirt) 55:00 [4] 7.0 mi (7:51 / mi)

Bike: Flux. Route: laps of Tape. Tried to do 80% effort. Not a good trail choice though. The higher effort stuff seems to bother my back more. Overall not very perky. Legs still tender from weekend.
