Cycling (dirt) 2:40:00 [3]

Bike: Spot. Route: Cumberland. Technical XC ride with the locals. I felt okay on the big climb. Lots of short hard efforts that were starting to wear on me by the end. The new bike is ~4lbs heavier so hard to gauge if I'm feeling sluggish or if it's the extra weight.

Skate skiing at Mt. Washington. 20 min warm-up, ~2hrs of biathlon practice (a bit of skiing, mostly shooting), followed by 60 min skate with big time climbing.

Ski (tele) 1:00:00 [3]

Spring skiing conditions at Mt. Washington = hero snow! Legs felt pretty strong considering I haven't been on tele skis in a long time.

Tabata sprints on spin bike. 20 sec on, 10 sec off, x8 plus warm up and cool down. Love it! I did not feel too horrendous considering I feel a bit under the weather in general today and might be fighting some bug off (could explain the fatigue of last two days).

50s workout.

Cycling (road) 1:00:00 [2] 5.0 mi (12:00 / mi)

Bike: Spot. Route: urban. First shake-down ride of new mtn bike. Easy spin to Colonnade, some skills work, and easy spin back.

Mellow class which was nice. But legs are definately fatigued...not so fun trying to hold lunge poses.

ATW, 20 reps. Feel like I should increase frequency of this to 2-3x/week as I feel like I'm losing core strength, not maintaining or gaining.

Cycling (road) 38:00 [2] 8.2 mi (4:38 / mi)

Commuted to and from work. Legs tired. Similar to yesterday, I got very tired in afternoon. Decided against trying to do a 2-3 hr ride.

Monday Apr 6, 2009 #

Bike:Jake. Route: Shoreline to work in morning, work to Shoreline in afternoon. Neck was sore from yesterday. Legs not too fatigued. Started feeling less perky ~40 min into ride back up to Shoreline and had clammy/shaky feeling again.
