Note
(rest day)

Took a day off as no proper food last night and late back made the thought of going to do the club run from LongAshton at 9AM a bit daunting. Will have to extend some of the rides home from work to try and make up a bit if it's dry during the week.

Orienteering race (Night) 1:14:42 [5] 10.4 km (7:11 / km) +230m 6:28 / km

BNC Bently.
Not fealing to good at start slightly too far left 2 15s very dodgy stomach fealing 4 to 5 the managed to throw up just out of 5 was feeling a lot better after this. Too far left at 6 30s. too low on 12 15s too high on 14 15s. bad mistake on 17 one stream too far over right and looking in the green instead of the open for thicket. When I finaly got nthe controll Richard Barret my 3 minute man was there. lead most of 18 followed most of 19 but shouild of been paying more attention as lost a minute when we turned the wrong way coming out of the green, worked it out quicker then richard so leading most of the way from there pushing realy hard into timed out road crossing then to finish where Richard out sprinted me.

2nd to Richard. In front of Martin Ward which is not a common occurance especialy at night. A bit anoying messing up 17 but richard had lost 3 mins on 7. He was 45 seconds quicker on the long leg.

I took 68 11 years ago at the BNC here for 10 km. I made about 3.5 minutes errors then but aparently had a bad cold acording to my notes. So not realy too much slower I was runing remarkably well tonight once I had throwen up although I did find it a long way.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1.0 km (10:00 / km)

Bit of a warm up and stretch before the start.

Cycling 1:05:39 [2] 23.9 km (21.8 kph) +150m
shoes: Charge Mixer

ITW. legs feeling destinctly heavy then I realised I had forgoten the keys again.... so double the normal with back home again. Found my way onto Hampton road today but that was fairly busy and narrow with cars parked both sides so I had to stop twice as people waited to turn. Then some bits of climb to get to the top of woodland road. All in all I think I will stick to Whiteladies.

Running (road) 35:00 intensity: (15:00 @2) + (20:00 @4) 7.0 km (5:00 / km) +70m 4:46 / km

Mikes group. They set off too quickly for me no chance to get into it very stiff. I was dropping to the back as we went down around Belbarn and then they went up to the downs and I realy strugled up the hill could not even keep up with Matt Lavis and he is 2 stone over weight... Took a big shortcut across the grass as they looped around to the watertower and down to the Whitetree RB. Called it a day there and cam back by myself afer a good stretch. More stretching when back.

I will have to go with Wendys group like Phil next time as they aparently start more sencibly pace wise.
