15.493km with 538m climb in 1:11:31. Spin out on bike before run later. Pushed first hilll but easy after that. Took in a bit of the single track as I past the top entrance too it and it was signed.

6.862km with 221m climb in 0:54:16. Bok training. Scott and Tommi out but I did not stick with them for long. Still a step up on last week distance and time. Managed to keep going up the hill but probably would of been quicker walking. Nice route for me really.

76.883km with 1091m climb in 4:43:44. Day 2 not the best night as forgot the hip and knee foam pads. Carefully with sack as it's showing its age needs some sowing before next outing.

Went to visit the bit of the map that would be new to me. Some nice riding but some overgrown. Managed to ride it all buy some stings and scratches. Fairly tired by the end feeling stupid for not having some ice-cream ready in the van when I got back.

116.261km with 1919m climb in 6:56:00. Re-ride of 2006 spring polarised day 1. The one with the a1 50,000 map. Felt hard work all day never feeling fresh which is what I was expecting maybe not being used to having the rucksack.

Same route as originally but then out for the extra loop I failed to do but Pete and Tom did for the over night lead. Not really sure I matched them or not as I failed to find old results. Got the 3 controls out there but had to miss 1 I got originally out and back in great wood. Was fairly done in the last 2 hours today. Glad I found water where I did and could fill up before climb to finish without any time pressure. One stop to put air in rear tire slowly getting squishy.

Fairly happy considering it was hard work all day. 2006 original I was still at my peak as a runner and did no real bike training compared to now. The bike is lighter now myself more of a biker but 14 years count for something the other way. The kit in the rucksack will be virtually identical for overnight. There is even the traditional polarised bonfire.
