82.425km with 1178m climb in 5:45:56. Out to ride some of the local tracks that are typically impassable at this time of year with the mud. Early ones all rideable but still tough as very rough when all frozen solid. New track from Hill to lower stone was good and fast. Wood after Tortworth was hard as breaking through to softer stuff every now and then. Up through north nibbly straight through woods down and up Valley north of Wooton forgot how mice the first bit is. User bits would normally be very sogy. A bit of a push through the woods getting out. Down scenic route to Ozleworth failed to ride the climb to Thresham. Nice down monarchs and up cotswold way. Then through the Wickwar wood which was breaking through the surface stuff again but mainly rideable with some effort. Cleared the worst mud off at end of wood and fairly done in heading back from here. Final new bit of bw was a bit of a nightmare. Lots of flooded and the ice just not. Strong enough to ride over a good bit of slow pushing trying to avoid the water going over the top of the boots. Knackered and hungry when home.
