First 30km was done as my Strength Endurance (SE) effort for the day. Basically I had to push a massive gear over all terrain. That meant that I have to stick in the 53/14 going over Grasstree Hill.
Set a good pace for the whole effort though and was pleased with it. Then I had to finish off the rest of the ride and was hoping Danny and Flake would come with me. But instead they turned around when they had half of what they needed and rode home.
I then told those two weak shams that I was oing to do the rest of the 140km ride regardless and they laughed. Ha Ha!! I was victorious today.
