fantastic night run with Jason and crew starting at 2AM, pre-RHR race and then doing 2nd loop with the race. Finished the run at 7:46AM...not a bad morning!

6x800 w/200 recovery

Bruce joined the crew today with the intention of my "running" my 800s faster...mission accomplished:

3:08-3:12 for the 800s. Had trouble settling into the 3:10...legs wanted to go faster and then would settle into slower. The pace will come.

Felt strong! Obviously, my 3:20+ times were too slow for me :)

Met the guys at oh dark 30 this morning. Felt a little sluggish at first, probably just sleepy, and then rebounded. Really didn't want to dip under 7min pace, but there were moments...

Was a little late for the run due to work. 12pm 93 degrees.

Jason brought a reinforcement today, his sweet wife. We ran back to her and powerwalked up with her...so a little slower than planned on the uphills. But, we really pushed the downhills. ave for downhills was 5:44/per .75 mile downhill.

Jason got fried on the last downhill and was challenged on the last climb. No issues for me. Maybe a little hungry. These close together doubles are killing my eating...I am down 6lbs over the past two weeks.

Westminster Glen loop and then City Park Road to the race. Finished with two 7:23 miles!! Took a while to warm up but ended feeling strong.

trail run 50:17 [3] 6.2 mi (8:07 / mi)

tagged along for Ken's 3rd loop of the Loop race. Got dropped but kept running :) He did the loop in 46 and change...no way I could have.
