Orienteering race 1:00:30 [4] 4.4 km (13:45 / km) +295m 10:18 / km
spiked:8/10c

Number 1 was in the wrong spot. Went straight 2 where it should have been, spent about 5 minutes looking 4 it. Never ended up finding it...

Otherwise a good run, even if I was a bit slow on the navigation.

Soccer 3:00:00 [2]

2 more games as linesman, in 1 Hornsby heights won 15-0!

Soccer 1:00:00 [2]

something like a 5-2 loss. didnt really matter as we had already forfeited due 2 lack of players. although i was goalie 2nd half, i scored in the first!

Soccer (Refereeing) 1:00:00 [2]

did the game before mine. U14s, hornsby won 2-0. i was the AR (linesman)

Note
(rest day)

Drove home 2day.

2day was almost as good as yesterday, but the snow had begun to ice over.

i cant believe they opened the last lift 2day! they could easily have opened it yesterday!

Skiing 7:00:00 [3]

The perfect day!

the visibility was as good as it gets (we could see for about 5km) and the snow was awesome because of the blizzard yesterday. went out when the lifts opened, came in when they closed (had 1.5 hours for lunch).

Skiing 1:00:00 [3]

had another rest day, worst weather yet. in fact, it was so windy they closed all but three lifts (enough so that they didnt need 2 give everyone refunds on lift tickets)

Skiing 5:00:00 [3]

really good weather, but the snow decided it would turn 2 ice, ruining an otherwise perfect day.

Monday Jul 20, 2009 #

Skiing 3:00:00 [3]

didnt ski in the morning, as the weather worsened and i decided i needed a rest. however, the weather cleared up for the afternoon.

would have skied 4 another hour if there wasnt a blackout. all the lifts stopped, we just got to the top when it happened (lucky us!). that was at about 3.30, power came back on 6ish. the lifts all had backup generators, so no one was stuck on a lift 4 more than 15 minutes.
