Race race (Circut Race Frozen Flatla) 50:00 [5] 25.0 mi (2:00 / mi)

Circuit Race
- Today was a tough day. I rode in the front of the group for the most part. It felt like I did a lot of work but I only pulled at the front twice all day. I did chase down a couple of breaks. Maybe that had something to do with it. The course was a 2.5 mile course that ran for 50 min. There was a 180 degree turn about a quarter mile from the finish line. On the last lap right after the turn, the sprint opened up and I was totally spent by 150 meters. My goal was to beat Willy Zelmer, but due to the fact that I was spent by 150 meters, he beat me by two places. I took 10th overall in the race. I was very happy with that. Afterwards, me and Seb White, Mitch, Willy Zelmer, and a pro mtn biker from Bozeman went for a 2 hour road ride. It was easy pace, but had a 2 mile climb in it that hurt the legs a bit.

Race race (Frozen Flatlands Road Rac) 2:00:00 [5] 55.0 mi (2:11 / mi)

Time Trial
-flatted 4 miles into race
-legs felt tired

Road Race
- I felt very good in the road race today. I rode at the front of the pack for the most of the race. I tried to ride up front so i would not get dropped which I am sure I would have if I didnt. My legs were a little tired but I was able to stay with the pack until the steep 300 meter climb came. I was wasted after the first half of the hill and got dropped by the front of the pack. For the next 8 miles i roade with a group and pacelined all the way to the finish. I gave it everything I had on my pulls. With 1k left I got stuck out front but faired ok it the sprint taking 4th in my group.

Race race (Frozen Flatlands TT) 32:19 [5] 12.5 mi (2:35 / mi) +200ft 2:33 / mi

Time Trial
- This morning was the first stage of the Tour of the Frozen Flatlands. My legs felt tired during my warm up and so proved out on the course. It felt like I was pulling a piano behind me the whole race. After the finish, I realized that I had a flat front tire. It was at about 40lbs. of pressure. This was the reason I was so slow in the time trial and that my legs felt so exhausted. I took second to last due to this.
