Sunday Nov 19 #

Note

Hadn't planned on a rest day today. We both wanted to do something. We set out early to accomplish some birthday and Xmas shopping, only to get sore legs and not get home until 3pm. By that stage we sat down for an hour or so before house chores of lawn mowing, cleaning bikes, ironing, kitchen cleaning and cooking dinner needed to be done and the day got away from us...

Saturday Nov 18 #

Note

Ended up having a lazy morning of Gilmore Girls, then went into work for what was only going to be a few hours and which turned into 6hr! By that time it was 7pm and i was starving, so just went home and had dinner.

Wednesday Nov 15 #

7 AM

Cycling 51:55 [3] 15.18 km (17.5 kph) +139m
ahr:136 max:161

Commute into work.
Decided to go another way - around the back of the Stadium, through Islington Park and then along the water around Carrington / Honeysuckle. Didn't realise it was about 3km further and so about 10min.
Wanted to try that way as crossing at Stuart Ave into Honeysuckle is a pain, but going that other way is worse with the amount of traffic lights there are.
1 PM

Walking 45:00 [3] 3.98 km (11:18 / km) +248m 8:37 / km
ahr:94 max:124

6 PM

Paddling 50:48 [3] 5.26 km (9:39 / km) +82m 8:58 / km
ahr:112 max:150

Started at Carrington, we out to the end of the first boats in the Harbour but it got too rough. Almost fell out a few times and the wind was pushing me into the boats so i certainly didn't want to fall out and my boat his one of the expensive ones...
So then i went back through Carrington and when i got to the Hannell Street bridge, i went really hard to the Lewis Street bridge (about 5min). Then i turned around and tried going hard back to Hannell Street, but the wind was atrocious, making it VERY difficult to maintain form.

6 x 400m with 90sec rec.
I was feeling nauseous at the end of #5. Started #6 strong knowing it was my last one; felt myself really drop off at the 200m mark; hit the home straight and picked it up thinking that i may be able to do a 7th; then finished and almost did throw up.
