Skate Skiiing 2:15:00 [3]

Went for a 45min ski before meeting up with the Tuesday night group. Arms were nice and tired afterwards (yes, I use my arms more than I should - still learning to skate ski!), so I figured this would be a good thing because it would force me to focus on my legs more with the group training. Lo and behold, guess what tonight's workout was??? that's right, ALL DOUBLE POLING! had a short 15 min warm up and then about 30min of double poling on rolling hills in a "reverse echelon" (person at the rear skis up to the front as as fast as he/she can and gets back into the track to resume double poling). By about half way through my upper body was toast - and I actually started to use my abs properly! Small victories....

Classic Skiing 1:05:00 [3]

P10 to Champlain Lookout - classic tracks were a little icy, but better than the skating.

Skate Skiiing 55:00 [3]

P10 to Champlain Lookout. Was pretty icy for skating, but still good to get out on the skate skis. While skiiing up to the lookout, I saw a guy skating from P10 all the way up to the lookout too - with no poles! Now that is impressive!
