yoga 1:00:00 [2]

C2 yoga class. Great class. I can tell I am losing arm strength b/c I am only doing arms once a week in yoga now. :(

running (treadmill) 1:26:00 [5] 15.1 mi (5:42 / mi)

Run #1: I would have done the middle part of this outside, but it is hard, b/c I get all sweaty inside on the treadmill, and then that chills me if I go outside, so I just did it all inside, and added hills on the middle hour. So the good thing about this run is that it was not as difficult as it was when I did it last time (so nice not to be anemic any more!). I did the first mile of the repeats at tempo pace at 8.3 mph ( 7:13 min mile), and the second and third of both sets at 8.4 mph (7:08.4 min mile). For the middle hour I did intermittent treadmill hills and 8:45 pace approx. (slowed for hills). This was also a 4.5- I was ready to be done at the end. :)

running (road, trail) 1:05:00 [3] 7.5 mi (8:40 / mi)

Run #4: I went outside with Zeb and left the GPS at home. I am guessing on both time and distance. I did my repeats on the treadmill b/c I think i go faster. Nice run.

Wednesday Feb 6, 2013 #

running (treadmill) 1:10:00 [4] 7.6 mi (9:13 / mi)

Run #2: max VO2 intervals. I think these are hard, (intensity of 4.5) but I like them anyway. I started with an easy warm up, strides and then my .5 mile repeats. I did the first 4 at 8.8 mph (6:48.6 min mile), and then the last 2 at 8.9 mph (6:44.5 min mile). I don't think 8.9 would have been good for the first repeat or 2, but I do think that it was more the level of effort that you have in mind for these. I did walk in between.

running (treadmill) 57:00 [5] 6.5 mi (8:46 / mi)

run #3: Hill tempo run. Okay, these are the hardest runs for me. I still feel like I might get sick by the end, but at least I know I will be done in 30 minutes. I did 2.5 min of walking before starting. I couldn't tell whether last week's run was harder or easier.

Monday Feb 4, 2013 #

running (treadmill) 1:00:00 [3] 7.0 mi (8:34 / mi)

Run #5: this was interrupted half way- kids needed me. But I did approximately 1 hr and approx 7 miles with random hills.
