Note

Felt the legs and knees briefly this morning. My back was pretty tight for our morning meeting in work. I had a back massage afterwards which has helped. I'll face the decision to run after work so. It'll probably be the same conditions as yesterday and it's hard to decide on running because i don't have a temperature. I'm just run down a bit from training and working hard recently. Starting to dream of christmas week forest runs in Ireland.

(sick) (rest day)

Calling this one early. Legs are tired from walking at lunch. They feel like they did this time yesterday. Rest is needed.

(sick)

I felt sore all day. Got a little better near the end of day and thought a short jog would be ok. I hummed and hawed at the door before I started. Decided to try it. Got pain in my calves and knees half way like last night. But no problem with my back. Shouldn't have run in hindsight.

NightO 31:00 [4]

I ran mila by night up near Taby. I felt some pain in my legs and back all during the day but decided that it was just in my head. I felt the pain on the warm up and beginning of the race but just decided to ignore it completely and just finish the race. I had to cut the speed off at 30mins and then shortly after the pain just wasn't decreasing like you'd think when you aren't pushing it. It then felt more like sickness pain, in my lower back, calves and knees specifically. So i decided to jog home. Unfortunately from the furthest point on the course. If it wasn't so cold i'd have walked.
I half enjoyed the nightO. I had a mistake or two here and there of course. But i probably shouldn't be racing nightO just yet. I've alot of training to do on it before i can start running fast at night. I'll look at training my night to help me better at day O. I don't know if i'll ever feel good at running a competitive race at night. Time will tell and there's plenty of it until April.
