Plastiglas O-Cup #1 - Mansfield

Finished 3/39 in Master Sport (35-39)

Overall great race for 1st of season. Conditions were great, 10C and Sunny. Course was dry & dusty. Lungs were screaming most of the ride. 2nd Lap I eased back too much as I was in 2nd, but then got caught by 2 riders but eventually got back to 2nd then a guy passed me in last 500m.

Great morning ride along Grand River Trail to Chicopee. Hammered out 3+ Laps of Chicopee course. Trail is great. Good day to be in trail as it was super windy and chilly. Perfect in trail though

MTB Grand River Trail over to Chicopee. Chicopee must've just done their trail maintenance yesterday. It was awesome. Trail was running perfect. Did 2 laps then 2 hill repeats straight up North Hill. Great Ride.

Ride at Puslinch. Went early in am so no one was there, so did the circuit backwards. Makes for a harder ride as I wasn't used to riding it this way. Took a spill early on, right over bars. Scraped up R hamstring area (not sure how)! Ride was good, trails are bone dry. Caught bars on a tree in the pines and went down again..sore left wrist but should be OK. Was going to ride longer but went out thinking I was going to crash again.

Another ride at 3 Stage in Collingwood. Trail was much better today. Great day, sunny and 7C. Did a few of the same trails then over to the Lookout trail and some Bruce Trail. Got home and cleaned bike.

MTB at 3 Stage in Collingwood. Trail was a bit slick due to some snow the previous day and light rain. The sun came out and it didn't feel like the temperature of 2C. Good ride, some excellent terrain and challenging because of the slick clay based trail. Good technical skills training.

Started off nice at Puslinch, then ran into some mechanical issues. Got a stick caught in rear derailleur/cassette and drivetrain was not right from there, had to cut ride short and take bike to shop. Needed a tune up anyway.
