Swim 45:35 [3] 2.5 km (18:14 / km)

First Open Water Swim of the Season. Kelso Lake with AH, and the Tri group from Milton. Water was at least 70F. Should be perfect for next weekend race. Tried the new AquaSphere Icon Wetsuit. It seems to be a great suit, although my arms felt more tired then the sleeveless suit.

TRX Suspension Training 20:00 [3]

TRX Circuit after the swim, lakeside at Kelso while the others went for a run.

Ride from Milton. This ride was brutal, wind gusts to 30km/hr. Felt like crap the whole ride. Struggled through this ride with a low average.

Another 30C+ day! Good ride at Puslinch. Rode Solo for 1st 50min then hooked up with ML group for another 50 min.

Swim at WLU, felt great to get in pool after a super Hot day at Work.

Monday May 24, 2010 #

Victoria's Duathlon, Waterloo.
Run started off good although I was sweating before we even started. Very hot day. Good steady pace for 1st run.

Ride race 47:12 [4] 30.0 km (1:34 / km)

Bike Course of Duathlon. Felt great for the ride. Had 1 bottle of ELoad & CarboPro & 1 Gel. Eased back a bit the last 5km for a decent run AVG 38.1 km/hr.

Good 2nd run, although speed wasn't there, the heat was intense. T2 was brutal as I went to the wrong bike rack and was looking around for my shoes.
