Ride 1:57:30 [3] 50.2 km (2:20 / km)

The best ride of the trip. Blue Ridge Pkwy climbed up the mountain and then across the ridge. Out and back. Amazing views of valley and mountain ranges on both sides. No wind and a nice 10km descent to finish which made the climb not all that bad.

2nd day in VA. Mountain misery ride from Newcastle, VA.
Started again with a monster climb (to warm us up) then battled some headwind. At the turn we encountered a road race on the same route we planned so we hauled it and caught up to their chase pack. Nice finish to this one with the last 30km a descent. Beautiful scenery in the mountains

Trail Run with Harps after our ride and lunch. Mostly double track and part single track. Need to get some new trail shoes to start training for off road tri.

Road Trip with Harps and FMC Road biking crew out of the GTA to Roanoke, VA area.
1st day was Mountain Mama route. The ride started off at around 11am and was about 23C and looked nice however at 60km in, a rainstorm system moved in which was very cold, temp dropped to below 10C. After battling through that with assistance from the group we managed to finish the route and it warmed back up to 15C near the end. Awesome ride and we had to stop at 110km to get a Clubhouse sandwich.. Over 13,000 ft of climbing.

After a rough night of sleep. Up 3x and once I was sweating. Fighting something. Frig, hope it is gone by tomorrow.
Felt about 75% for this one. A little better then Monday.

900 mixed w/u, free, kick, pull etc.
12x200 on 4:00, 3:50 & 3:40 (came in b/w 2:55-2:59) so a decent rest for each.
8x150 with paddles on 2:45

Swim Focused Week - plan calls for 6 swims, 2 bikes, 1 run. Not sure if i'll follow that.
Not a planned rest day, but ended up working all day straight from night shift.
missed a long swim.
