Crossfit Cumbaya shortly after we arrive in Ecuador on the red eye! Way too funny, trav finds it, our guide loads us in a cab, the coach is there just starting the class, and we are deep into it! Partner workout: 30 cal row, 3 x 2 rope climbs ea, 50 air squats ea , then another 30 cal row. Then 2x 300m partner run with medicine ball, 3 x 10 push ups and 10 burpees, then another 2x 300m partner run with medicine ball. I was so proud when the coach asked if I could climb a rope, I could casually say yes! He followed by “show me” and that I did. Glad to travel with super powers. Trav knocked a couple off legless - that sure earned us gym cred!!! Coach and classmates were great - fun!

w craig. Clean in 3 positions session. Then Partner AMRAP 16min 20 powerclean, 10 ring dips (box dips mod for me!), 50 (each) DUs. got some more DUs...still hard to lace them together without a single in between.

w kyle. session of 8 reps on each leg of Bulgarian Split Squats and Romanian Single Leg Deadlift. Burn after the hills this morning but super fun trying to keep balanced. Then 20 rounds with 10 min cap on 5 db push press and 19 single under + 1 double under. No where near 20 rounds!

w mike. woohoo...watched blainey do her first rope climb.....yay!!! fun class with a push jerk session, then a EMOM with rope climbs, HSPU (or wall walks) and partner ball crunches. I got much better at my rope descend today which makes me more comfortable getting to the top! trav in the earlier class did legless climbs - crazy!!

w kyle. man, this one hurt after the hills! First a clean session 3,2,1 sets in 3 positions starting at pockets and heading down x 5. Then "Sea Legs" 3x2 min rounds 18 Cal Row, max burpee box over. 2 min rest between each round. no skip in my step that is for sure!

w kyle. a 15 min sled push session. kinda nuts - rather than heavy weights, I focused more on bursty speed. Then in teams of three a crazy burden carry, DB lunges, v-ups, and man makers. Fun!!!

w mike. a really good one! 5 sets of 8 Landmine Press / arm, 10 Strict Pullups. Then 5min to Complete: 1000m Row AMRAP in 5min 50 DU's 10 DB Hang Squat Cleans 5min to Complete: 1000m Row AMRAP in 5min 5 Devil Press 10 DB Thrusters. Happy to find my row time stayed pretty even - 4:12 then 4:20. a hard 20 minutes!

the BEST morning run! snow falling as it became light. last hill top had me greeted by the most beautiful black legged red fox - wow! despite me trying to scare it away to respect a human/wildlife barrier, it just sat there, about 5 feet from me, just watchin' my stupid arm swinging and throaty noises!!

w kyle. max 2 rep back squats session - after hills, decided to go lighter and do reps of 5. then row 800m rest 1 min row 800m, then AMRAP 9 mins, 20 air squats, 20 sit ups 20 kb swings. after the class got the thumbs up on my v-up technique from mike - yay - can start doing that more regularly at home to help hit my T2B goal!
