bit of a upper body workout on the run. trix let me know she had something lodged in her foot on the way back - she was good to limp it in but I was a little worried the stump jammed into her pad, still visible, would go in deeper, giving us nothing to pull on to remove ....so, a bit of a run carrying a 42lb pooch! good thing though. trav needed pliers to pull out the thick mass of wood thorn that was over 1/4in long - it was in there good.
