basic stuff at home. a wee bit of time off CF due to a hot right rotator cuff. no need to jump to conclusions CF naysayers - this has been a chronic irritant from a shoulder dislocation years back - just being cautious not to flare it up too much! funny, something I am finding about CF (and any other time I have got back into slinging weights) is that all previously broken bones and separated/dislocated joints (a few!!!) sure rear their head - one in particular, my previously broken scaphoid just aches so much now with all the gripping and tossing! :) lesson learned - get stuff casted right away when needed rather than waiting a month... - heals better. :)
Yay! 1st Crossfit Open! This week 19.1 was 15 AMRAP of 19 wall balls and 19 cal rowing. Scaled wall ball to 10lbs which was actually Womens 55-59 Rx. Got through 6 complete right down to the last 2 seconds, for total of 228! Yay! Fun - the music was a great help in keeping it fun rather than serious or a complete hurtfest! Anita and Craig were great at encouraging!!!!
metcon w janet. some of the lifts coming much easier now. a killer emom x 3 with wall balls, sdoh, box jumps, bbjump thrust thingies, and rowing. no where near the rx, but happy with my effort in scaled. 232
