Warm up/down 10:00 [2]
shoes: Asics

No time for warm up map. Feeling crap again

Orienteering 38:19 [4] *** 5.6 km (6:51 / km) +100m 6:17 / km
spiked:13/16c shoes: Asics

OK run until spectator (12)
Lost 45 seconds to number 1 and crap route to 7 as forest is just as fast as anything.
Then number 14 lost 2 minutes. Continued on path for way too long, didn't notice the bend.
16-Lost close to a minute. Came out north of my control but then legged it past it to a different one and then had to leg it back to mine. Mind was never in it especially not at the end.

Warm up/down 15:00 [2]
shoes: Asics

Warm up to start was 3k but didnt run it all. Stretching the calf lots when i got warmed up. Sore but could run

Orienteering 56:50 [4] *** 8.64 km (6:35 / km) +110m 6:11 / km
spiked:15/18c shoes: Asics

Running surprisingly well and navigated quite well on most controls. Almost boiled in thermal.

5 was a long control. Lost time at the beginning rather than the end. Was trying to find track that goes north-west but couldn't locate it at first. About a minute looking. Then was good

6- Headed off with no plan and didnt read anything. Was lucky not to have lost more. Just found track but had no idea until I saw that. ca. 3 minutes lost.

Lost 20 seconds on 10
Didn't read description for 11 and thought it was re-entrant.

12- Disaster, much the same mistake as 6, lost ca. 3 minutes again

But confident at navigating other controls. Ok start.

Had a massive headache before event and was really off. Good fun on the skating ramps though :)

Orienteering 20:26 [5] *** 4.0 km (5:07 / km) +30m 4:55 / km
spiked:22/24c shoes: Asics

Start! I'm off and the headache is gone. Sweet!
Good run and running real well.
Lost 10 seconds on 7. Overshoot.
Lost about 80 seconds on 15. Really bad now I look back at it. Went sort of for the control for what I remember and then thought i was 100 metres further north on the big road and realised when we hit start area. Bad stuff

Rest was grand.
