Warm up/down 10:00 [2]
shoes: Nikes

Feeling good and confident in my new orange top from Decathlon :)

Orienteering 28:31 [5] *** 4.81 km (5:56 / km) +125m 5:15 / km
spiked:19/21c shoes: Asics

Really good run. Really simplified well.
1) Lost 15 seconds. Let the open before the control distract me.
8) A couple of seconds
12) Lost up to ten seconds. Thought control was in re-entrant.
16) 10 seconds. Hit area but just ran in and stopped hoping to see it.
17) 10 seconds. Thought the first track I crossed was the second one.

Need to be like this all the time.

Will put maps up later

Warm up/down 10:00 [2]
shoes: Nikes

Felt ok. First time in the week I had enough water in me. Just about
11 AM

Orienteering 1:04:49 [5] **** 10.0 km (6:29 / km) +100m 6:10 / km
spiked:14/19c shoes: Nikes

Was running hard for the first time in the week. The first time I actually felt quite good. Calf not restricting speed, just sore.
1) Came in way too low and went farther then. Realised road below me and backtracked. ca. 2mins
4) Wasn't reading enough coming up to the control but got it ok
6) Got to area and had bearing to control but should have gone up the re-entrant instead of just heading in. Started wandering, instead of just standing and making sure that I knew where I was on the hill. ca.2mins
7) A few seconds
12) Good bearing but came out too east and took abit to decipher hills and where the control was behind them. ca. 30 seconds
13) Had to tie shoe lace at 12 and then lost 15 seconds in the circle.
15) Should have gone straight to track or straight all the way.
16) Hit knoll, 10 metres east of control.
17) Crap route, long around the road but the forest is just as fast :P

Garmin took ages to locate satelites and asked me if I was indoors at 1 so I just switched it off. Guessing the distance because the others did it and even if they made more mistakes, my route to 17 would have caught up the distance.
