Around the place, once again not enough

Orienteering race 29:32 [5] *** 5.0 km (5:54 / km) +120m 5:16 / km
spiked:16/18c shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

Absolutley sore and wrecked at start but was good experience.
Good run technically however except for a bad route choice and a few tiny misses
Wasn't reading my map as much as I would at the beginning, dissapointed with that

Warm up/down 15:00 [2]
slept:10.0 shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

To start and around there

Orienteering race 49:23 [5] **** 8.0 km (6:10 / km) +200m 5:29 / km
spiked:9/14c shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

Route!

Spiked the first 2 but slow to one as confused by excess rain water
3-Just thought i was going around one spur but was going around the one the control was on so had to backtrack
Spiked 4 and 5
6-Just a small bit of time lost trying to get to the control through a thicket... didn't work
7-Lost myself near control-1 minute
8-Couldnt see control as was looking into other end of depression... 20 seconds
9-11...Spiked
12-Just was in the re-entrant but it bended around so had to go after hesitation...20 seconds
So it was ok and good on the results

So only lost about 3 minutes but once again i was knackered halfway around

Warm up/down 10:00 [2]
shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

To start and stretching there

Orienteering race 48:43 [5] **** 7.0 km (6:58 / km) +125m 6:23 / km
spiked:13/16c slept:10.0 shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

Route!

GPS out of battery for the weekend...
Overall no time where i didn't know where i was, just bad routes, fitness and hesitations cost me time and more than i initially thought

Spiked the first 4
Small hesitation just before 5 at the veg change line. 20 seconds
Route to 6 was muddy, should have taken path in the green in the first place
7-Didnt see river until got to it
8-Bad route as the best was to the east. Only saw it after. 1 min
9-11...Spiked
12-Didnt have bearing coming in to it and saw two other controls, knew they weren't mine but hesitated...20 seconds
13-Hit control close to mine but quickly realised where mine was

Was knackered from 9 or so but managed ok.
So was very happy at finish but only reviewing see where i could have saved a few minutes

Warm up/down 10:00 [2]
slept:10.0 shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

Probrably not enough, just ended up chatting at start

Orienteering race 19:28 [5] **** 3.6 km (5:24 / km) +40m 5:07 / km
spiked:16/19c shoes: VJ Orienteering Shoes

It was a good run overall with all the time lost on one control really.
Route!

1-3...Spiked!
4-No plan and hesitant. Also ran straight passed control to one on same path. About 30 seconds overall
5-Ouch. No plan and just ran. Not good. Lost 2 mins
6-10-Spiked!
11-Ran to wrong side of building as i never really check the control descriptions-20 seconds
12-Lost 5 seconds near control
And basically spiked the rest.

So overall alot of controls spiked but far down the results because of # 5.
Could have been 3 minutes quicker
