S6D-Glen Affric
Ran easy around the course today. Enjoyed it a lot more than yesterday, great terrain. Dropped 40secs to 2, drifting left. Didn't check my direction leaving 8 and ran straight through OOB, then got stuck in felled trees at the control. Overall lost ~3mins. Drifted right to 11 as well, dropping 1 minute. A nice day out.

S6D-Glen Affric
Started well enough but lost concentration to 4 and stopped at the wrong veg change. Dropped ~2mins. Didn't check direction at all leaving 4 and lost contact. Wandered around before reloacting. 5mins lost. Good to 9 but then to 10, the terrain started to get really crappy so jogged/walked the rest. Didn't enjoy it that much.

S6D-Darnaway
Huge banana to 1, very oddly mapped dropping ~40secs. Lost concentration to 3, stopping way too early and lost 2mins. Very scrappy through the next few. Didn't check description at 10 and lost 30secs in the circle. Huge miss to 13, my compass was just really weird and couldn't figure it out. Lost 4mins despite the control being very close to a track. Horrendous erroe. Scrappy through the next few but then had a good finish. Had good speed today but huge mistakes destroyed me.

S6D-Darnaway
Fast start but then lost direction and contact going to 2. Vegetation wasn't very well mapped, had to bail out to the track. Lost 4:30mins. Then to 3 I started navigating back to 1, dropping another minute. Lost a bit in the circle at 5 and bailed to the track route to 6. I was running well for the rest but lost 30 seconds to 18 drifting left and 20secs to 21 taking a long route to the crossing point. Not a good day but the second half was positive.

S6D-Forres Sprint
Two mistakes, head in my map to 3 and overshot an alleyway and then lost 25seconds to 6 searching in the wrong alley. Silly mistake. Overall a bit scrappy but felt I was running well.

S6D-Strathfarrar
Fell in a huge bog already to 1 and mapped was covered in mud! Good through to 4, following the tracks in the terrain. Lost contact to 5 and wandered a bit losing a minute. Didn't pay attention to 6 and then climbed off the map! Lost 5mins. Then just started jogging, following the nice elephant tracks. Shamus Morrison caught me at 14 so I followed him to 18 to see how I should have been running. Then tried to out-routechoice him to 19 but messed up and lost a minute. Ridiculous mistake. Overall, not a good day but good insight following Shamus.

S6D-Achagour
Started well to 4 but then lost concentration to 5 running the wrong direction down a track losing a minute. Good to 10 and caught Matt Elkington but took the crossing point to 11 instead of going straightvto the track. Hit the control cleanly though. Lost 3mins on the long leg to 12, the mapping was really weird. Then lost another 1:30 to 13 and 1min to 14. Then lost 1min navigating to 12 instead instead of 15. Then I just lost the will to try and was jogging/walking in the tough heather. Lost another minute to 20, the contours were really strange. Decent start but overall disappointing.
