JK Middle: Windmill Hill
17th - 9:13 down
Overall I lost 5:25 minutes. Which would have put me 4 minutes down.
Not happy. Was so worried about my ankle which didn't put my head in the right place and I was more focused on the pain than the orienteering.
As soon as I started making mistakes I started feeling really sick. I was freezing cold (even though it was 23°) and I was shaking and crying. I was still shaking when I finished and for about an hour after.
Didn't have enough strength to get through the forest and I walked nearly half of it. (Mostly out of pain)
Absolutely gutted.
Fingers crossed my ankle will be stable enough for me to run tomorrow! I'm taking the confidence of knowing I can do it when only being 4 mins down without mistakes with an ankle I don't trust, that hurts and that's playing with my mind. Will strap up and go out with a different mindset tomorrow!!

Bit gutted I didn't run today but I know it was a good idea. Foot is still improving and I'm looking forward to being able to run tomorrow!

The icing and compression continues. Still massive improvements!

I don't think I will be running tomorrow at the sprints. I want to be in the best position possible for Saturday and Sunday. The sprints don't mean anything and I'd rather not make my ankle any worse

Planned some training for Henry and I pre JK. (Contour only)
Talk O - just a short loop to get my head back into forest O. The contour only map really forced me to concentrate and focus on ground shape and compass
Loop that mum planned - was really really really enjoying myself (probably too much) and got a bit carried away down one of the hills and rolled my ankle. More than just your average twisted ankle but nowhere near as bad as anything I've done before. Mum says it should be fine by the weekend. Fingers crossed. I will hate myself so much if it's not :(

Swelling has already gone right down and it's just a bit stiff and immobile now. Fast improvement!! Fingers crossed it keeps getting better

Just wanted a break from revision. 4:34/km on the second km which completely blew me so I went home

Went on a walk for an hour to loosen off a bit. I don't understand how people can revise for hours on end? I just can't sit still
