First straight run in a very long time and oh how I've missed it! Short loop around the village (faster than I intended). Very stiff and a few niggles here and there which is expected after all the traveling. Nothing from the metatarsal :))

Walked to the beach and back. Walking I'm getting a 1/10 pain from the metatarsal so won't run for a few days. Lots of walking to be done in the meantime and lots of running opportunities in the next 2 weeks :)

WOC Spectator Long (ish)
Decided to bomb it straight on every leg even if there was an obvious easier route (didn't come to Norway to follow a stream). Only a few nav slips. It felt like everything I've learned this summer has fallen into place. 2 mins off a top 20 which was kinda cool.
Metatarsal was really quite uncomfortable throughout.

some confusion at 2 but other than that it was reasonably clean. Would have liked it to be a bit longer. Rebecca beat me again. Meh
