Kenfig WJOS training
Control Pick - rusty nav but slowed it down in the techy bit and stayed pretty accurate
Simplification - did as map memory with dad. Some confusion in the first few control circles but took more care in picturing the control and nailed the last few

Out to Brereton with mum for some varied lengths and gradients of hills. Took the first two far too easy without realising and then massively surprised myself on the last four climbs.
Really really proud of myself. (And of mum)
Rest tomorrow ahead of some prime training in Kenfig this weekend

Was plodding quite nicely, probably could have slowed it down a lot more. Stopped my watch at stepping stones and walked the last km and a half home as I was verryyy sleepy

Canal was far too slippy but my brain was telling me I just wasn't good enough to do it. Sacked it in and headed home just absolutely hating myself. Everything hurt and I just can't tell what's real pain anymore. Also struggling to work out what pace I'm running at as at the moment everything just seems to wear me out . Scaring myself at this point cus this really isn't normal :(

So I went to the track tried it again after altering the intervals
3 x 2 mins (2 mins)

1- 4:14/km, 2- 4:32/km, 3- 4:46/km
Massive headwind on the home straight which was rather tough. Clearly attacked the 1st effort too hard which is a learning point. Good shift however and I'm proud of myself for getting back out :)

WCH club champs - blue
Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the area and the planning was ace. Lots of scrappy mistakes throughout which is expected cus the last time I properly raced a course was a good while ago. Had to remove a thorn from my shoe which took a while and lost me a couple of minutes. Got tired at the end and ran up the complete wrong hill like an absolute spoon losing a few minutes :(
For a first proper run back it wasn't atrocious. Lots of silly mistakes that need ironing out but hey I got round (without having any food in my stomach oops) :)
Hip twinging throughout which isn't positive but I'll take a rest day tomorrow and stretch it out
