Wanted to see the colours in Broc cop. The flats and the downs are feeling really good and getting faster but I'm not getting any progress on the ups which is very frustrating. May have to introduce some hill reps. Was very odd to bump into Phil on a tiny path in Broc cop. Directed him towards the nice spurs.

Lost dad. Had to go back and fetch him from the top of the German cutting. Hit 1000km for the year which is cool! 200 more than the whole of last year :)

Out and back along the Tissington trail. Mum claimed it was flat. It wasn't and plodding that slowly uphill killed my hip flexors. Felt absolutely pathetic to be honest because if I was going any slower I'd be walking. Although 2 weeks ago I would have been walking to keep the HR under 165 so I guess there's already some improvements :)
