Walked 12km today with m&d to obtain some lunch. Intended to do some intervals this evening but am absolutely drained. Slept really badly last night which is probably why I'm so tired

Friday Nov 6 #

3 PM

Running 39:30 [2] 4.7 km (8:24 / km) +116m 7:29 / km
ahr:160 max:174

Wanted to see the colours in Broc cop. The flats and the downs are feeling really good and getting faster but I'm not getting any progress on the ups which is very frustrating. May have to introduce some hill reps.
Was very odd to bump into Phil on a tiny path in Broc cop. Directed him towards the nice spurs.

Running 10:45 [4] 1.8 km (5:58 / km) +44m 5:19 / km
ahr:190 max:204

Lost dad. Had to go back and fetch him from the top of the German cutting.
Hit 1000km for the year which is cool! 200 more than the whole of last year :)

Thursday Nov 5 #

Thursday supposed to be a run day. Will swap with tomorrow's rest as mind wasn't up to it today :(

Tuesday Nov 3 #

7 PM

Running 30:01 [2] 4.1 km (7:19 / km) +10m 7:14 / km
ahr:156 max:170

First run since the slow stuff where I actually felt like I was running. Didn't even have to walk up the hill that usually kills me off. Nice to finally see a small improvement :)

Running 1:09:07 [2] 8.25 km (8:23 / km) +75m 8:01 / km
ahr:160 max:174

Out and back along the Tissington trail. Mum claimed it was flat. It wasn't and plodding that slowly uphill killed my hip flexors. Felt absolutely pathetic to be honest because if I was going any slower I'd be walking. Although 2 weeks ago I would have been walking to keep the HR under 165 so I guess there's already some improvements :)
