The muscle that wasn't working is sore today which means it was working properly yesterday. Yay

Orienteering 22:26 [4] 3.4 km (6:36 / km) +17m 6:26 / km

Quicker than yesterday but more mistakes. 7th out of more than yesterday.

Running 7:00 [2] 1.0 km (7:00 / km)

Gentle between runs
5 PM

Orienteering 19:50 [4] 3.3 km (6:01 / km) +3m 5:59 / km

Really pleased with this! Happy with rc. Probably the fastest paced sprint I've done in years :)
Not bad on tired legs!

ASOM prologue - WO
Very wet and slippy. Lots of hesitation trying to find hidden controls. Mistake at 10 when an extra alley wasn't mapped. Planning made me think. 5th overall. No pain from knee. Solid.

Train home then physio
After some more treatment we realised that my right knee cap doesn't move up when I engage my quad (it's supposed to pull up over the femur). Basically the theory is that the patella is getting stuck in the femoral groove and I feel pain when they grind over each other (more grinding with more bending which is why stairs and hills hurt more).
The good thing is that there's no structural damage so with some activation of the muscles that refuse to work everything should be back to normal in a couple of weeks or so.

Running this weekend won't make anything worse so I'll just run to feel and if I hurt, I hurt and I'll give myself a break.
