Note

More treatment - confirmed no structural damage. Root cause is "poor hip function" which misaligns the knee.
Happy for me to keep running but told not to go crazy. Strengthening program coming soon to try and fix hip

Running 1:16:31 [3] 9.1 km (8:25 / km) +144m 7:48 / km

Slow wet miles on the chase. Knee hit a 1/10 on the main descent and a 2/10 in the last 2kms where it just seemed to stiffen up. New headphones worked a treat :)

Just looked back and haven't run that far since July!

Orienteering 28:35 [5] 4.1 km (6:58 / km) +70m 6:25 / km

2x2 leg 1
Uninspiring planning. No legs no lungs. Fell right off the back of the mass start (expected but still destroys all confidence). Was proper grumpy lol.
Looking back I was faster than I felt.

Orienteering 16:41 [5] 2.4 km (6:57 / km) +42m 6:24 / km
ahr:186 max:209

Really suffered during this. Knew it was a shorter leg but lungs and legs completely gave up. I was just determined to get back to mum before any sort of mini mass start. A couple of mistakes because I was just so tired. We weren't last on open which we're happy with.

Note
(rest day)

Decided 9km on tarmac would be pushing it a bit for the knee. Also just knackered.
