A plod around the S6D 23 Darnaway map as I didn't get to run it last year. Wasn't quite expecting it to be that physical! Dropped a few controls. Still feeling lethargic but glad I got myself out.

Scottish Relays 2nd leg - Class 17+ with Neil and Vicky
Gassed to have a low pressure short leg and gassed to run in Roseisle on fresh legs.

Set off well. A nav wobble at 3 would end up being my only mistake. Not quite sure what happened but my internal compass felt weird and I lost some confidence and overshot a wee bit. Hannah Chapman caught me at 5 and I knew she was on my course. I stuck with her as best as I could (she's great) and eventually dropped off 4 controls later. Started feeling proper tired as I hit the last couple of control but was surprised to see Hannah pass me again (internally was chuffed that I'd caught her back up). This gave me a wee boost to push hard to the finish.

Overall 3rd on the leg and pulled us up 2 places. Focused really well. Legs felt fabby. At times I felt like I was zooming. Good flow and route execution. Knee was a 0/10 on the pain scale. Happy Hol.
