Been feeling pretty ill recently so went for a gentle out and back along the other side of the river (which wasn't as flat is I'd hoped). God the Raploch is a shit hole. I will not be going back.
Ended up being a walk/run situation to keep HR down

Round the block with Patrick. Wanted this to be a decent effort and I'm pretty sure it's my fastest 5km for over a year lol. 1 min off my fastest time since 2020 and I was managing to chat a fair bit! Feels like progress - will race a park run over summer and see what happens.
Glutes got very sore and I felt my right hip jumping all over the place so that still needs lots of work to fix. No knee pain.
