Lovely day out. Loads of people out enjoying the sun too.

Legs felt grand but they'd a good rest, nearly 2 weeks off. Calves got a bit tired towards the end.

Tired by the end of it so cut back through town to get home. Probably should have done some stretching after but was lazy!

Took it easy today, last day I think of relaxing. Give the illness as much of a chance as possible to clear. This illness was bad enough I think. Worse than any recent chest infection.

Work night out, or well Council Social Club Committee dinner night out. Good laugh. Didn't stay out too late.

Getting there but still not 100%, close enough, maybe at 90% today.

Also ordered something for Elvis off Ebay, cost £5 but the same thing is £45 on Amazon. We'll see what happens. Basically it's a Garmin for cats. If he's out training during the day it's only fair he gets a chance to log it like the rest of us.

Back to work. Survived but was wrecked by the time I got home. Managed to watch tv for the evening though.

Taking it easy until at least the weekend. Not ready to go back training.

Last day at home.
Made it through the day, was tough one, lots of difficult decisions to make, like when to make the next cup of tea, and what tv programme to watch next.

Definitely getting better.

Felt very rough again yesterday evening, started going downhill from around 4. Eventually had another dinner of ice cream but added some banana for a change. That was after being in bed for a while. If the same happens tomorrow I should probably go to the doctor again.

Since it’s Monday I should be making a plan for the week, or at least writing it down. This week is a wait and see. Unlikely I’ll be doing anything before mid week and even after that I’ll have to take easy for a bit.

Ideally Tir na Spideoige would be good at the weekend. Would have helped if I’d filed at home rather than at work!
