Sunday Apr 14 #

8 PM

Note
(sick)

Thought today would have seen some improvement but wasn’t feeling great after lunch. Came home and had a 2 hour nap! Not something I usually do. Felt better for it.

Saturday Apr 13 #

9 PM

Note
(sick)

Definite improvement on yesterday, had 3 meals today compared to 2 slices of toast and a yogurt yesterday!
More energy, could actually move, so on the mend. Stomach not right though as was proved overnight.

Friday Apr 12 #

Note
(sick)

Didn’t manage to avoid the vomiting bug!!!
Zero energy, spent most of the day sleeping.

In Dingle doing some work so stopped for a run in the dunes on the way back.

Kept off the beach and then toured around the back of the dunes before coming back parallel to the beach. Sandier on the way back but tried to find grass.

Legs felt a bit tired and left calf still tight after Sunday. HR a bit on the high side as I looked at it running, not sure the reason for that.

Didn’t have a map with me as decided too late last night where I was running to go rummaging in my map boxes which are under another box at the moment. But do miss not Orienteering here, it is a really good area. Next time I’ll bring a map. It is a shame it’s not used :-(

Wednesday Apr 10 #

11 PM

Note
(rest day)

Bit of a sniffle this morning along with a bad night's sleep due to sick baby meant another day on the sidelines. Hoping to do something tomorrow. Heading to Dingle for the day so might run somewhere on my way home.

Tuesday Apr 9 #

Note
(rest day)

Throat a bit on the sore side and still feeling tired, more in general than legs. So decided against training. Would probably have had to give it a miss anyways due to a sick baby.

Monday Apr 8 #

10 AM

Note
(rest day)

Body feeling very tired this morning but no pain, just tired. Slight cold I think so will see if that shifts today. Spending today in Cahersiveen and Killorglin so a bit of walking that should help recovery.

Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Run (easy)
Wednesday - Bike
Thursday - Run
Friday - Bike
Saturday -
Sunday -

Leaving the weekend open for the moment, want to put some thought into where and what I do.

* Edit
Bacon & Cabbage moved to Wednesday this week so I’ll need to change training plans, dinner influencing the plan! Kind of suits though If my weekend run is Sunday.
Very tired when I got home from work, exhausted.
