Up since 0430 to get the train. New car to be collected from NI. Probably feeling a small bit better so hopefully starting to improve. Wouldn’t say throat is better yet but probably not as sore.
Monday - Rest Tuesday - Rest Wednesday - Rest (another v. early start, drive to Mallow for 620 train to Dublin) Thursday - Run Friday - Rest Saturday - Bike Sunday - Orienteering, not sure if I’ll run or take Erik out
I think this plan is probably ambitious and that I may need to relax a bit. So could well be Friday before I do something, especially as I may be working late in listowel on Thursday.
Ticking the ill box as this is extreme. Throat still sore too. Spent a good part of the day in bed. Probably feeling a small bit better by the evening as a result of the extra sleep.
Feeling rough, again. Throat a bit on the sore side and very tired. So rest (& sleep) needed for today and probably tomorrow and probably Saturday. Good build up for a race, but that might not be a good idea ahead of a c4.45 alarm call on Monday to catch a train.
Started out with i'd say slightly below the avg cadence for the spin but 2nd half of the spin brought it up. Last 10 minutes was tough going, started to struggle. Body was getting tired. Before that it was fine.
Later on before bed I started to feel drained. Will bring running gear tomorrow but chances of actually using it are reduced.

Run in the dark and damp towards the end. Cold too.
Legs feeling a bit shook. Better than I thought they might feel but feeling the effects of Sunday still. Signed up for more punishment next Sunday by entering the Munster Masters Cross Country, it’s in Beaufort so just out the road, 7km I think so manageable.
