Gloomy morning but dry and mild. Not that busy in the park.
Before breakfast too. Jekyll & Hyde at it again this morning, was coming running and then he wasn’t. Waved me off and WW3 broke out after I left!

No issues with left Achilles while running, didn’t have any either last Sunday until a day later. So will see how it is tomorrow. Feeling ok otherwise.

Lackabane

Didn't go to plan. Got a puncture in Lackabane. Either I didn't check the tyre well enough after last week or a new puncture. Found some glass in the tyre so reckon that may have been to blame! Don't like punctures, particularly in the cold. Turned around once fixed.

Legs feeling a small bit tired starting off but feeling better once warmed up.
Despite the puncture, effort and pace were better today.

A nice day out on the bike too.

Lough Guitane - Crosstown - Woodlawn - Countess

Bit of a random spin, was expecting a work call so that delayed me getting out, but call never came. Didn't do the usual hour, felt a shorter spin would suit me better. Achilles feeling a small bit improved.

HR felt high again. The hills did feel under pressure but not so much elsewhere. Lovely day for a spin, particularly in the sunny spots, cold in the shade. Good to get some fresh air.

Adjusted the time for a brief delay in Ballaghacommane. A fella on a bike stopped me for directions, wondering if he could get to Killarney via Crosstown!

Monday evening I got a CGM, so will see how that affects things. Should have a lot more data to play with. Can't see it affecting me too much for normal training, but definitely more useful for longer stuff. So far so good anyways.

This went fine. Been a while since I was in front of the tv on the turbo as opposed to a laptop. Plaster is still drying in the former training room.

I think this will be the turbo's 10th season, it's 1st season started mid-season.

Achilles feeling a small bit better today.

This plan disappeared so this is post-dated by a few days.
Left achilles very sore today, so that's come from nowhere. So will avoid running for a few days and see how that works out.

Using exercise as opposed to a particular training form as playing the week by ear, basically unsure if it'll be Turbo Trainer or Bike.
