Pre breakfast. Felt more comfortable running today, struggled on any uphills on Thursday, so a flat run solves that problem. Achilles (left) maybe slightly less painful, still definitely an issue.

Foggy morning/day but not too cold.

Note
(rest day)

Didn’t train, as expected.
Got my outdoor lights display finished, happy for this year. Will probably go for more in 2021.

Afternoon didn’t quite go as expected. I’d have thought that Erik wouldn’t have tried to eat the Christmas Tree star/topper since he wouldn’t be the best at trying foods. It was made of glass! But who knew he liked glass ??? No damage done, mouth wasn’t cut for starters, but he did go to hospital to get checked.

Avg Cadence = 97-99rpm
Dropping down to 50 repeatedly, and I wasn't slacking like that.

Breaking Bad S04 E04

Nearly went outside for this but felt conditions (temperature) better inside. Felt a bit tired after a while and last 10-15 minutes weren't easy mentally. Physically I didn't get worse just got fed up.

Busy with Christmas decorating and hopefully plan to make a start on my outdoor display this afternoon after work.

Muckross

Bit of a random jaunt to a few locations.

Started with some forest, hadn't been in this section of woods since the NPWS made it OOB. Nice enough, found a few deer paths to follow, so looped around it before crossing the road to use the Bridle Path. There was a 2nd gate there last time I went in here during Lockdown 1, no sign of that gate. It did appear new in the Spring so maybe it was 'relocated'!

Then another loop before over to Bluepool for a loop around there.

Achilles (left) not happy, but didn't stop me running. CGM on my stomach was annoying me a bit too, could feel it, and was just paranoid about it.

Lovely morning for running. Sun shine coming through the trees. So that was good.

I'm looking forward to the Roald Dahl theme for tomorrow's toy show. I definitely read his books growing up.

Breaking Bad S04 E03

Avg Cadence = 97rpm

Did manage to get time alone at home today to get the bike out for a bit. Happy enough with how I was feeling.

Had to be quick getting setup and put it away afterwards.

Note
(rest day)

Lads home all day so no chance to get the bike out and I wasn’t going running. So rest day instead. No harm though, think I either slept badly last night or did something sitting at the laptop, upper back sore/stiff.
