Route more or less went to plan but went direct from the wall to the top of the forest. Missed the wall junction, just went a bit too far. Following the wall rather than across a slope of heather would have been better.

The rain came in the forest on the way back. Was grand before that. A lot of water though both on Mangerton where the path was a stream and on the forest roads. No snow like last weekend.

Legs feeling ok, Achilles has been noticeable but was ok running.

Enjoyable run. Nice to do something a small bit different. And all within 5km too. There was a Garda car in front of me heading up Mangerton Road, they pulled in at the track to the left. There wasn’t much to do if they were going stopping people, maybe 1 car at the bottom of the Mangerton track.

Did meet maybe 8-10 people and 3 on bikes in the forest so busier that usual.

Played Exploding Kittens with Mary. Elvis was nearby, not sure what his feelings on the game was.

Not feeling too energetic this morning. Legs felt tired starting off but they did improve once warmed up. Some exercise is better than nothing.

Hope to head Mangerton direction tomorrow but will depend on the weather.

A child dies one way or another every few episodes, I don't like that.

Bit later than usual as was in Tralee this morning. The excitement of being out of my 5km! Wasn't that exciting though.

It was raining today, a strong wind heading in the Torc direction too.12 degrees according to the car thermometer, a bit warmer than -3 on Monday morning. Some dry bits too while running and heavier rain after I finished. The fresh air is needed with most of the week spent indoors whether it be working or training!

Achilles manageable, a small bit sore but not desperate. Pace probably more controlled but did increase for a small bit with a runner behind me after the Muckross Car park.

Quiet in the National Park.

New runners day. Same as the last pair so didn't feel that different.

There's 4 seasons so that'll keep me busy for a couple of more years.

Nothing of note this morning on the bike. All went fine.

Snow is melting on the mountains but will save that for Sunday, want to try out the new (same) running shoes tomorrow.

Great fun with Erik shopping today.

But his form improved in time to go home.

Remembered in time that the rear tyre needed replacing, there's a reason I keep spare ones from the road bike, so had one in the garage to replace it with. Didn't take long.

Felt mostly ok.

For the time being i'm moving my rest day to Tuesday since Mary is working from home that day and Thursday. Can take Erik to do the shopping, also moved to Tuesday, and let her have 50% more peace for an hour anyways.

Monday - Turbo
Tuesday - Rest
Wednesday - Turbo
Thursday - Run
Friday - Turbo
Saturday - Turbo
Sunday - Run

Might have to go to Tralee on Friday so that might affect things, could swap the run to then from Thursday.
