Friday Jun 7 #

Note
(sick)

Still sick. Not feeling too bad but can’t see exercise happening over the weekend.

Thursday Jun 6 #

5 PM

Walking 37:44 [0] 1.8 km (20:54 / km)
ahr:76 max:123 shoes: New Balance 880 v11 (Red)

Took the lads for a stroll as I was home earlier than usual due to a meeting. Sun shining.
Despite the proximity of water no one went swimming, thankfully.
Although Oscar did end up in some mud after falling off a temporary bridge, the bridge I told him not to cross. "I told you so", is really lost on them.

Ballincollig Regional Park

Took the lads to Cork for the afternoon and this on way home. Get them out orienteering more.

Oscar does know how to rise me, where's your SI, I don't know. Go back to look for it and it's in his pocket!!!

Cycling (MTB) 58:44 [3] 23.6 km (2:29 / km) +167m 2:24 / km
ahr:140 max:168 shoes: Bontrager Foray Mountain Shoe

In hindsight Mary was sort of right when she said I didn’t look too keen putting on my shoes. Was fine cycling but body in trouble afterwards, energy levels way down. Felt rough for the morning but improved a bit after lunch.

Weather was slightly damp so plan for the road bike changed. Headed for Knockreer instead and did a few easy trails there before coming home. Weather improved while out. Happy with time out there while on the bike but maybe 10 minutes less would have helped me afterwards.

Hoping sleep means I recover overnight but a few days rest may be needed. We’ll see.
