Saturday Aug 17 #

O' at Granite Planite, warm, windy, sunny, almost no cows (but lots of campers to make up for the lack of cows), and zero face high spider webs.

Thursday Aug 15 #

Two turkey hens were waiting for me at the high point of the HQs trail, and I assume they were waiting for me because they were entirely nonplussed by my arrival. I've never seen turkeys there before, and it was neat that they let me get so close to them. Usually turkeys--around here at least--are very skittish and are running as soon as they detect your presence. The high point of the run was therefore also the highlight of the run.

Wednesday Aug 14 #

Long easy run. Legs felt blah, not entirely unexpected given what I did yesterday. But better when cycling earlier in the day.

Tuesday Aug 13 #

Intervals at the end of a beautiful August day.

Monday Aug 12 #

Running trails, saw two yearling moose together, one a male and the other a female. Unusual, thus.
