Up at 5.45am back at 8.45pm and exams tomorrow..
Very muddy lol but mud = fun.
Took four hours to get there then an hours wander and it was time to run, I did my warm up then went.
I caught the guy 1 minute ahead of me before control 1 and he stuck with me until about 9 i made a mistake going to 3 and 7 both of them because I was orientated wrong and got to the wrong path, not sure about some of the route choices either but I want have lost much time on that. At 8 i caught Tamsin and she stuck with me to near the end which was good for motivation but not a big impact I would think. Overall about 2minutes lost on what was mainly a path runners course so mixed views.

SYO training on Loxley Common. 'twas good =]
I did the 'hard' warm-up, which wasn't so hard, then a 1:2000 simplification exercise which was good apart from 5 where I took the wrong route and missed it because of the bracken. After that I did a bearings exercise and a route choice exercise which went well.
The last thing was a relay, i was in team me-ryan-yasmin(e?). We set of in the mass start wrong way cus the coaches tricked us. I ended up getting to 1 first then leading most of the course until 9 where i did a parallel path error and I was looking for the wrong feature. Zac and Aidan overtook me but I overtook Zac to win by two meters at the end =)

Not sick anymore but recovering, got back late so couldn't go for a slow run and need to get ready for mocks because i have no weekend maybe something tomorrow.

Resting from lakeside =) 'twas good fun and improved terrain running and stamina mostly but also phycological benefits in confidence etc. Hopefully good enough for cannock.
