The run to the start, no drills. Terrain running after some mini-o round an area sample.

Really fun area which suited me very well, shame i didn't do well on it though. Ill treat it as two different races.

Start to 9- GOOOD
Loved this area of the map and went all out to win,
1 fine, 2 no problem, 3 spot on, 4 hesitated too high 7s, 5 back on track, 6 overshot slightly 20s, 7 good but a failed attempt at scaling a cliff, 8 easy, 9 good job (other than falling down a steep boulder field backwards and getting very bruised and battered).
So that all went well (mostly) very pleased.

9 to finish- SHHHIT
It was still a loverly area (-12 &13) and enjoyable but i just went sooo bad on the course because i wasn't navigating properly, i got distracted because i caught up Olly and everything went out the window.
10 overshot 13s, 11 hesitant, 12 ok but why did we have to go into the windblown, 13 spent 1min 30s inside the control circle because i couldn't work out which crags weren't mapped and it was hidden, 14 angry at 13 just ran and missed a re-enternt so was miles out 1min 20s, 15 acceptable, 16 angry at 13 and 14 so just ran no navigation so overshot 40s, (17,18,19 and finnish were the run in so fine)

Wasn't bothered by the hip or the foot so sitting on my ass all week had payed off but i really need to sort out this distraction problem.

With my dad. For some reason when playing badminton i can hardly ever stop laughing for no apparent reason so that is why he managed to beat me once this time. The hip was fine but my back was aching slightly from sitting 'properly' especially after a bit near the end where i did some unintentional breakdancing.

Course Planning

Well theres not much i can write about this without giving anything away... Despite how it looks on the map its a really good area with a few areas of grot. The map is complicated to match up but everything on it is there. There are numerous paths and holly bushes which have appeared which i'm not going to bother mapping. Some of the map I looked at and thought it would be like one thing but i was 100% wrong so hopefully others will make that mistake so its a bit more technical. My hip isn't as bad but its still a bother so things aren't looking good for the British Middle distance on saturday.
